Job Description:
This position is responsible for the maintenance of an SPF husbandry facility
in support of ongoing preclinical experimental protocols.
Responsibilities:
• Receive, log and maintain preclinical study participants in an SPF facility
for in vivo experiments
• Assist in setting up and performing in vivo experiments assessing auditory
function through Auditory Evoked Brainstem Response (ABR)
• Assist in the collection of samples for histologic assessment
• Maintain scientific notebooks, perform data collection, analysis, and
documentation of laboratory experiments
• Accurately reproduce and improve upon published protocols
• Contribute to scientific research through frequent review of relevant
scientific literature.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 4 years experience working with in vivo models.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of scientific principles and standard
laboratory practices.
• Knowledge and experience in the correct handling of hazardous substances.
